Tribute to Denise Dupleix

After having obtained all her prizes from the Conservatoire Superieur de musique de Paris, Denise Dupleix joins the Opera Comique de Paris where she sings as a coloratura soprano : Rosine (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Lakme, la Poupee (The Tales of Hoffman), the Fire and the Nightingale (l’Enfant et les Sortilèges by Maurice Ravel).

Her career takes her to the greatest scenes in France and all around the world : Geneva, Brussels, Firenze, North Africa, Canada, Ireland and West Indies.

She also participates to many lyrical programmes of the French broadcasting (ORTF).

In 1971, officially named Song and Lyric Art teacher by the Arts Minister, she starts a new career which takes her from the Conservatoire of Toulouse to the prestigious Academy of Lyric Art of the Opera de Paris where she teaches many of the actual great french voices.

She conducts important Master-classes in Paris, in France and in Argentina as well, where she travels during eight years to teach the art of french singing in Buenos Aires.
